Sea Haven Beach House - Beachfront Home with Pool

Update: The construction next door finished a couple months ago. There is no longer a caretaker on the property, which offers guests full privacy when staying at this gorgeous home. 

The space

Sea Haven Beach House is a completely furnished beachfront home with 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms each with a balcony overlooking the ocean. There is a laundry room with toilet, a full-size private pool, a palapa next to the pool with a BBQ and a pier with a palapa to offer shade. 

The home is raised off the ground, and a large staircase leads to the front door from the road/private parking. The main living area consists of a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and new full-size stainless appliances, a dining area with seating for 6, living area with a queen-sized sofa sleeper and love seat and flat-panel television, and a half bath with stacked washer/dryer. Beautiful Belizean hardwood cabinets and tiled floors are located throughout. The rooms are cooled with air-conditioning units and ceiling fans. Floor-to-ceiling patio doors lead to a tiled veranda off the main living area that overlooks the pool/yard and offers unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. No better place to watch a sunrise.

A tiled staircase leads to the second level consisting of two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. One bedroom has a king bed with a dresser, closet, flat-panel television, and a full bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dresser, closet, flat-panel television, and a full bathroom with shower. Both bathrooms have granite counter tops, and both bedrooms have air conditioning and share an east-facing veranda for breathtaking sunrises and stunning views of the sea.

On the beach, the above-ground pool has a shallow area for getting your toes wet (1 foot deep), soaking area (4 feet deep), and a small pool deck for sunbathing. A palapa in the yard next to the pool has a large picnic table - a nice location to eat a meal or gather together. The pier with ladder makes accessing the sea possible or maybe enjoy the sea breeze under the palapa at the end of the pier (there's even a hammock to sway in).

The house rents with 2 paddle boards, a kayak and life vests for either adults or children. Some reviews mention a caretaker, but this is currently not the case, so the home is very private. An ideal location to escape reality. 

Although there are other homes in the area, the property is fairly secluded being 5 miles south of San Pedro Town.  Note that the road to the property is unpaved and can get a bit bumpy at times. Because of its distance from town, we recommend renting a golf cart (about a 30-minute golf cart ride). A taxi can be called and will cost approximately $30 USD one way. Ask us about our service to provision the home with groceries prior to your arrival for convenience.

The town of San Pedro sits on the Caribbean Island of Ambergris Caye, Belize. It is a beautiful tropical paradise, like most Caribbean islands, in a small and developing country. Although most areas on the island are connected to electricity, water and internet, please be aware that there are occasional interruptions in service. Planned interruptions in service are announced by the local utility companies, and we strive to inform our guests as quickly as we are notified. When interruptions occur that are unplanned, the locals go about making the most of their day until service is restored.
